? Join us at Audio T Brighton on Wednesday 10th December for an informal open day celebrating the arrival of Rega’s latest reference electronics — the Mercury Pre-amplifier and Solis Power Amplifier. The event runs from 2pm until 7pm, so feel free to drop in at any time for a relaxed chat and listen.


These two remarkable new designs represent the pinnacle of Rega’s four decades of amplifier development. The Mercury Pre-amplifier combines uncompromising engineering with real-world flexibility, delivering exceptional channel separation, a vanishingly low noise floor, and superb dynamics. It also features a high-performance DAC, discrete headphone amplifier, and full-colour display — all designed to let your music shine without distraction.


The Solis Power Amplifier takes things further, offering the muscle and precision to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers with ease. Hand-built in England, its fully symmetrical circuitry and high-current triple output stage deliver immense control, clarity, and effortless scale.


For this special event, the Mercury and Solis will be paired with the Rega NAIA turntable and Aura reference phono stage, driving Dynaudio Confidence 50 loudspeakers — a world-class system designed to show just how far Rega’s engineering has come.


We’ll also be joined by Rob Noble from Rega, who’ll be on hand throughout the afternoon to answer questions and chat about the design philosophy behind these exciting new components.


Meanwhile, John will be spinning some of his own favourite records, but you’re more than welcome to bring a record of your choice. We’ll even clean it for free on our Degritter MKII Ultrasonic record cleaner, so you can hear just how much difference a proper clean can make to your vinyl.
