The JVC DLA-NZ700 is a compact native 4K laser projector designed for high-performance home cinema installations.

It uses three third-generation 0.69-inch D-ILA devices with a native resolution of 4096 × 2160 pixels, a 2,300-lumen BLU-Escent laser and an 80mm motorised projection lens.

The NZ700 also provides an 80,000:1 native contrast ratio, DCI-P3 wide-colour capability and intelligent HDR tone mapping.

Native 4K D-ILA Imaging

The three-chip design also avoids the rotating colour wheel used by some single-chip projectors, helping motion and colour gradation appear smooth and natural.

2,300-Lumen BLU-Escent Laser

JVC’s BLU-Escent laser light source delivers a quoted brightness of 2,300 lumens.

Motorised lens shift offers up to ±70% vertical and ±28% horizontal adjustment, helping align the image when the projector cannot be mounted directly in front of the screen centre.

Five installation memories can store lens position and other settings for different screen formats or viewing arrangements.

Check the Throw Distance First

Screen size, image width and projector distance should be confirmed before installing a ceiling mount or permanent HDMI cabling.

Lens shift improves flexibility, but it cannot correct an unsuitable throw distance or every off-centre installation.

Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR

Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR analyses HDR10 content by scene or frame and adjusts the tone mapping to suit projection.
