Clearaudio Performance DC Turntable Package
The Performance DC is the "top of the range" turntable package offered by Clearaudio.
The Performance DC has been combined with the Clarify tomearm and either Virtuoso V2 MM or Concept MC cartridge to form a formidable deck that avoids the potential issue of selecting and matching of separate cartridges or tonearms.
A newly developed DC motor with high precision bearings and belt drive, in conjunction with a platter of 40mm-thick POM which rests on a Clearaudio ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB), all designed to reduce noise and friction.
The DC motor allows vey fine adjustment of all three (33.3,45,78rpm) speeds with cast iron stability.
Construction: Resonance-optimised turntable, highly compressed wood chassis in sandwich construction embedded between two aluminium plates. We recommend: tonearm with magnetic bearing technology (Clearaudio Magnify or Verify)
