The IsoAcoustics GAIA Neo II is a set of four threaded isolation feet for compatible floorstanding loudspeakers, subwoofers and mechanically secured speaker stands.
It replaces the product’s original spikes or threaded feet, creating a firm connection with the cabinet while IsoAcoustics’ patented internal isolators manage vibration between the speaker and floor.
GAIA Neo II supports one speaker or subwoofer weighing up to 54kg and is available in Black or Dark Chrome.
One Set Supports One Speaker
Each package contains four GAIA Neo II isolation feet for one speaker, subwoofer or compatible speaker stand.
A conventional pair of floorstanding speakers normally requires two sets.
Designed for Speakers up to 54kg
A set of four GAIA Neo II feet supports one compatible floorstanding speaker or subwoofer weighing up to 54kg.
The weight limit is based on the operating range of the isolation system rather than simply the amount of weight the outer housings can physically carry.
IsoAcoustics does not recommend exceeding the stated limit because isolation performance declines when the feet are overloaded.
Use the Weight of One Speaker
Select the GAIA Neo model using the net weight of one speaker or subwoofer, not the combined weight of a stereo pair.
Where a speaker is mechanically attached to a floor stand, include the weight of both the speaker and stand.
Refined GAIA Neo Isolation
GAIA Neo builds on the patented directional isolation principles used by the original GAIA range.
IsoAcoustics has refined the shape, thickness and material properties of the internal isolators to improve the management of mechanical energy.
The feet are designed to reduce vibration entering the supporting floor while limiting energy reflected back into the speaker cabinet.
Reducing Structure-Borne Vibration
A loudspeaker cabinet generates mechanical energy as its drive units move forwards and backwards.
When the cabinet is connected rigidly to the floor, some of this energy can pass into floorboards, furniture and the surrounding structure.
GAIA Neo II provides a controlled mechanical connection that reduces this transfer while continuing to support the speaker securely.
Reducing Reflections Back into the Speaker
Vibrational energy can also reflect from a hard supporting surface and travel back towards the loudspeaker cabinet.
These reflections may contribute to bass smear, reduced clarity and a less clearly organised soundstage.

The scale of any improvement will depend on the speaker, room, floor construction, positioning and original support arrangement.
Only the Lower Isolator Contacts the Floor
GAIA Neo is designed so that only the lower isolation element contacts the supporting surface.
The external housing does not create a rigid mechanical path around the isolator by resting directly on the floor.
This allows the speaker’s energy to be managed through the intended isolation system rather than bypassing it through the surrounding housing.
Directional Isolation
The internal isolators are directional and should be aligned with the front-to-back movement of the speaker drivers.
This allows GAIA Neo II to manage vibration on the principal axis while resisting unnecessary sideways movement and oscillation.
Correct orientation is therefore an important part of installation.
Align the Logos with the Front of the Speaker
Install each GAIA Neo II with the IsoAcoustics logo facing forwards, in line with the speaker drivers and listening position.
The logos appear on both sides of the housing, making the orientation easier to check during installation.
Seamless 8.5mm Height Adjustment
Each GAIA Neo II provides up to 8.5mm of height adjustment through its rotating lower ring.
The adjustment remains accessible after the speaker has been stood upright, reducing the need to lift the cabinet repeatedly or reach a locking nut hidden beneath it.
This makes it easier to level the speaker, compensate for minor floor irregularities and distribute the cabinet’s weight evenly between the four isolators.
Height Adjustment Under Load
The lower rings can be adjusted while the GAIA Neo feet are supporting the speaker.
Gently tilting the cabinet to relieve some of the load can make each ring easier to rotate, particularly with a heavier loudspeaker.
Use suitable assistance and make small adjustments while checking that the cabinet remains stable.
Adjusting Height Without Losing Alignment
The lower ring can be rotated while the upper housing remains aligned with the front of the speaker.
This allows the installed height to be altered without turning the complete directional isolator away from the correct axis.
Recheck the alignment of all four logos when setup is complete.
Pivoting Lower Isolator
Floors are not always perfectly level, and rigid speaker feet can sometimes make uneven contact with the supporting surface.
The lower isolator within GAIA Neo II can pivot to maintain fuller contact with the floor.
This helps support the speaker more consistently while retaining the intended isolation performance.
Flush-Fit O-Ring Installation
GAIA Neo uses an integrated O-ring rather than the exposed locking nuts used by the original GAIA installation.
The isolator screws onto the installed thread adaptor until the O-ring compresses and the housing sits firmly against the base of the speaker or its outrigger.
The fine adaptor thread allows the housing to be aligned accurately while maintaining a strong connection.
Compression Washer Option
A compression washer is provided for installations where the integrated O-ring has limited contact with the speaker base or outrigger.
The washer creates an alternative contact surface between the loudspeaker and isolator.
Use it only where the cabinet shape or installation arrangement requires additional contact support.
Optional GAIA Neo Cap
The optional GAIA Neo Cap can provide a cleaner finished appearance where the O-ring, compression washer or upper inlet remains visible after installation.
It can also improve contact support where the speaker base provides insufficient surface area for the smaller compression washer.
The GAIA Neo Cap is a separate accessory and does not replace the isolation performance of the GAIA Neo foot itself.
Included Thread Adaptors
GAIA Neo II includes M8-1.25, M6-1.0 and ¼”-20 threaded adaptors.
These sizes cover many medium-sized and larger floorstanding speakers and subwoofers, but the correct diameter and pitch must still be confirmed before installation.
Alternative adaptors are available through IsoAcoustics distributors where the supplied sizes do not match the loudspeaker.
Never Force an Incorrect Thread
An adaptor with the wrong diameter or pitch can damage the loudspeaker’s threaded insert.
Check the speaker manual, compare the original spike or use the IsoAcoustics Product Selection Wizard before installation.
GAIA Neo Thread Adaptor Design
GAIA Neo thread adaptors have one side that matches the speaker’s threaded insert and another that connects to the GAIA Neo isolator.
The correct adaptor is first installed into the speaker before the isolation foot is attached.
Original GAIA and GAIA Neo adaptors are not interchangeable, so select adaptors specifically designed for the Neo range.
Speakers Without Threaded Inserts
GAIA Neo II requires a suitable threaded connection beneath the speaker, subwoofer or speaker stand.
IsoAcoustics does not normally recommend adding threaded inserts to a cabinet because drilling or modifying the base may cause permanent damage and invalidate the loudspeaker warranty.
A compatible Aperta stand or OREA isolator may offer a safer non-threaded alternative.
Included Floor Sliders
Floor Sliders are included to help move the speaker into position after the GAIA Neo II feet have been installed.
Place one slider beneath each isolator before standing and positioning the speaker.
The sliders can be used directly on suitable carpet or fitted with the included adhesive felt pads for use on compatible hard floors.
Floor Sliders Are Positioning Aids
The sliders make it easier to move and fine-tune the position of a heavy loudspeaker.
Once the final position has been selected, tilt the speaker carefully from side to side and remove the sliders so the GAIA Neo isolators make direct contact with the floor.
Using the Sliders on Hard Floors
Apply the supplied adhesive felt pads to the underside of the Floor Sliders before using them on a suitable hard surface.
Check that the floor is clean and free from grit before moving the speaker.
The sliders should be removed after the final position and height have been selected.
Using the Sliders on Carpet
On carpeted floors, the Floor Sliders can be used without the adhesive felt pads.
They allow the speaker to be moved without dragging the GAIA Neo isolators directly across the carpet.
Remove the sliders once positioning and height adjustment have been completed.
Optional GAIA Neo II Carpet Disks
GAIA Neo II can be installed directly on suitable hard floors and thinner carpet.
For thicker carpet or carpet with substantial underlay, optional GAIA Neo II Carpet Disks provide a firmer supporting foundation.
The correct Neo II disks should be selected because the dimensions differ from the carpet accessories for other GAIA models.
Floor Sliders and Carpet Disks Serve Different Purposes
Floor Sliders are temporary aids for moving and positioning the speaker.
GAIA Carpet Disks are optional permanent supports used beneath the isolators on thicker carpet.
Installation on Hard Floors
GAIA Neo II can be used on suitable wood, laminate, tile, stone and concrete floors.
The surface should be stable, clean and capable of supporting the loudspeaker safely.
Once the Floor Sliders have been removed, the pivoting lower isolators should make direct and even contact with the floor.
Installation on Concrete
Isolation can remain beneficial on a solid concrete floor.
Although concrete may not flex like a suspended wooden floor, it can still reflect mechanical energy back towards the loudspeaker and transmit vibration through the structure.
GAIA Neo II is designed to reduce this interaction.
Suitable for Subwoofers
GAIA Neo II can also be used beneath a compatible subwoofer weighing up to 54kg.
The subwoofer must provide suitable threaded foot inserts and remain stable once the factory feet have been replaced.

Suitable for Mechanically Secured Speaker Stands
GAIA Neo II can be installed beneath a speaker stand when the loudspeaker is mechanically fastened to that stand and the two operate as one structure.
The supported load must include both the speaker and stand.
The stand must also provide suitable threaded inserts for the required adaptors.
Speakers Resting Freely on Stands
Where a standmount speaker simply rests on the upper plate of its stand, IsoAcoustics recommends placing isolation between the speaker and stand.
A correctly selected Aperta stand or OREA isolators may therefore provide a more appropriate solution than fitting GAIA Neo beneath the floor stand alone.
The complete installation must always remain stable and secure.

Recheck Speaker Positioning
Replacing factory spikes changes the speaker’s mechanical connection with the floor and may alter its installed height.
After installation, recheck spacing, distance from nearby walls and toe-in towards the listening position.
