Built from carefully selected “Green Grade” components, this limited-run turntable uses the same aluminium-skinned plinth found in the acclaimed Planar 3 RS model — only with minor cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect performance.
This innovative approach helps reduce waste, reuse valuable materials, and keep perfectly good parts out of landfill — without compromising the legendary sound quality the Planar 3 is known for.
What is Rega Green Grade?
Rega’s Green Grade initiative is their answer to a growing demand for sustainable manufacturing. Much like “wonky” fruit and veg, these products embrace small visual imperfections to avoid unnecessary waste. Every Green Grade turntable is fully functional, built to the same exacting standards as standard production models, and comes with Rega’s Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects (cosmetic blemishes are excluded).
