DALI RUBIKORE CINEMA LCR Speaker
The DALI RUBIKORE CINEMA is a high-performance passive speaker designed for left, centre and right channel duties within a home cinema system.
It is supplied individually and can be positioned horizontally beneath a television or projection screen, or vertically on a suitable stand or shelf.
A separate AV receiver, integrated amplifier or power amplifier is required.

The listed price covers one DALI RUBIKORE CINEMA speaker.
A conventional home cinema will normally require one centre speaker. A matching LCR installation using the RUBIKORE CINEMA for the front left, centre and right channels requires three speakers.
A Separate Amplifier Is Required
The RUBIKORE CINEMA is a passive loudspeaker and cannot play sound directly from a television, streamer or Blu-ray player.

Left, Centre or Right Channel Use
The RUBIKORE CINEMA is more versatile than a conventional centre speaker because it can be used across any of the three front channels.
Placed horizontally, it works naturally beneath a television or projection screen. Positioned vertically, it can form a powerful front left or right speaker on an appropriate stand or shelf.
Using three identical RUBIKORE CINEMA speakers across the front creates closely matched dialogue, effects and music as sounds move across the screen.
Rotatable Hybrid Tweeter Module
The Hybrid Tweeter module can be rotated so that its dispersion remains correctly orientated in either landscape or portrait placement.
The module combines a 29mm low-loss soft dome with a 17 × 45mm planar element.
The soft dome provides the main treble output, while the planar driver joins at the highest frequencies to add extension, detail and broad horizontal dispersion.
Rotate the Tweeter for Vertical Placement
The Hybrid Tweeter module should be correctly orientated when the speaker is changed between landscape and portrait placement.
Audio T or another authorised DALI specialist can assist with rotating the module and checking the finished installation.
Twin 6½-Inch Clarity Cone Drivers
Two 6½-inch bass and midrange drivers provide the scale and clarity required for dialogue, music and film effects.
The paper and wood-fibre diaphragms use DALI's Clarity Cone profile, designed to control unwanted resonances while retaining low mass, rigidity and natural damping.
The twin-driver arrangement also gives the RUBIKORE CINEMA greater bass output and dynamic capacity than a compact conventional centre speaker.
Soft Magnetic Composite Technology
DALI's Soft Magnetic Composite material is used within the driver motors to reduce eddy currents, magnetic hysteresis and variations in voice-coil behaviour.
Reducing these unwanted effects helps the drivers follow the amplifier signal more accurately, contributing to clean dialogue, natural voices and controlled bass.
The technology is inspired by developments created for DALI's flagship KORE loudspeaker.
Advanced Crossover Design
The 2½-way crossover operates at 2,800Hz and 14,000Hz.
The network incorporates SMC-KORE inductors and premium Mundorf capacitors, helping divide the signal between the twin Clarity Cone drivers and Hybrid Tweeter module with low electrical loss.
The internal crossover remains active during conventional single-wire, bi-wire and passive bi-amplifier operation.
Bass-Reflex Enclosure
The RUBIKORE CINEMA uses a bass-reflex cabinet tuned to 36Hz.
This helps the twin 6½-inch drivers achieve a specified low-frequency response of 49Hz while retaining the speed and definition required for voices and cinematic effects.
An active subwoofer remains important for reproducing the dedicated low-frequency effects channel and the deepest bass contained within film soundtracks.
Stand and Shelf Placement
DALI recommends placing the RUBIKORE CINEMA on a strong shelf, substantial furniture or a suitably rated speaker stand.
The cabinet weighs 16kg and requires a supporting surface that is stable, level and deep enough for its 400mm cabinet depth.
DALI recommends positioning the speaker between 5cm and 100cm from the wall behind it.

Bi-Wire and Bi-Amplifier Connections
Separate terminal pairs allow conventional single-wire, bi-wire or passive bi-amplifier connection.
For normal single-wire use, the supplied terminal links remain fitted. Bi-wiring uses separate cable runs from one amplifier channel, while passive bi-amplification uses separate compatible amplifier channels.
Remove the Links Before Bi-Amplifying
The terminal links must be removed before separate amplifier channels are connected.
Leaving them fitted could connect the amplifier outputs together and cause equipment damage.
Amplifier and AV Receiver Matching
The RUBIKORE CINEMA has a sensitivity of 89dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.
It benefits from an AV receiver or power amplifier with dependable current delivery and sufficient clean headroom, particularly when several RUBIKORE speakers are being driven simultaneously.
Power specifications quoted with one or two channels operating may not represent the output available when every home cinema channel is active.
