Adaptive Gating Technology
The medium-current section uses IsoTek’s Adaptive Gating technology.

Direct-Coupled Power Cleaning
Power amplifiers can draw quickly changing amounts of current as the musical signal moves between quiet passages and demanding peaks.
A filter designed primarily for low-powered source equipment may not provide the most suitable electrical path for these changing requirements.
The high-current Sigmas circuits are therefore based on IsoTek’s Direct-Coupled design, prioritising low impedance while still reducing unwanted mains noise.
Planning the Connected Load
Use the published mains consumption of each component when calculating the total load.
An amplifier’s watts-per-channel output does not describe how much electricity it draws from the wall, so the rear-panel electrical rating or manufacturer’s specification should be used instead.
Source products typically consume much less power than amplifiers, but the combined load of the four medium-current outlets must still remain within their shared rating.
Common Mode Mains Noise
Common Mode noise appears in relation to earth and frequently contains radio-frequency interference from wireless communications and nearby electrical equipment.

Differential Mode Mains Noise

A Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene helix is wound around the internal conductor before a further FEP layer protects and insulates the assembly.

System Link Does Not Increase Available Power
