The ATC SCM100ASLT SE takes the proven engineering of ATC’s reference three-way active loudspeakers and places it within an imposing Special Edition tower cabinet.
Each speaker combines a 314mm Super Linear bass driver, ATC’s renowned 75mm soft-dome midrange and a 25mm soft-dome tweeter with three dedicated power amplifiers producing a combined 350W.
The result is exceptional clarity, effortless dynamic range and deep, controlled bass without the need to choose a separate stereo power amplifier. The distinctive cabinet brow and extensive finish choices give the Special Edition a more individual appearance than the standard SCM100 models.

ATC SCM100ASLT SE Active Floorstanding Speakers
The ATC SCM100ASLT SE is a three-way active floorstanding loudspeaker system built around ATC’s professional drive-unit and amplifier technology.
It is supplied as a pair, with each speaker containing its own active crossover and individually matched amplifiers for the bass, midrange and high-frequency drivers.
The Special Edition cabinet combines substantial construction with a distinctive upper brow that can be personalised using different centre and horn treatments.
Three-Way Active Engineering
An active loudspeaker divides the incoming audio signal before amplification. Each frequency band is then sent to a dedicated amplifier connected directly to the appropriate drive unit.
This allows ATC to optimise the crossover, amplifiers and drivers as one complete system while removing the large passive crossover components found between a conventional power amplifier and loudspeaker.
A separate stereo power amplifier is therefore unnecessary, although a suitable pre-amplifier or source with a properly controlled variable output is essential.

ATC 75mm Soft-Dome Midrange
ATC’s SM75-150S soft-dome midrange reproduces much of the vocal and instrumental spectrum using a drive unit dedicated entirely to this critical frequency range.
Separating the midrange from the bass driver helps voices and instruments retain their natural tone, texture and intelligibility when the music becomes complex or playback levels increase.
The driver’s broad and controlled dispersion also helps create a stable stereo image across a useful listening area.
314mm Super Linear Bass Driver
Bass is reproduced by ATC’s SB75-314SL 314mm short-coil driver with Super Linear Magnet technology.
Its substantial motor assembly and dedicated 200W amplifier are designed to produce deep bass with accurate pitch, timing and low distortion rather than simply adding excessive weight.
ATC specifies low-frequency extension to 32Hz at the stated minus 6dB point.
ATC SH25-76S Soft-Dome Tweeter
The 25mm SH25-76S soft-dome tweeter is designed and built by ATC and powered by its own 50W amplifier.
Its dedicated amplifier remains isolated from the demands placed on the bass and midrange channels, helping fine detail remain clear during large musical peaks.

provides a more compact analogue control centre with line inputs, configurable record playback and headphone listening.
A compatible streamer or DAC with a high-quality variable output can also be connected directly, provided its connection type and volume behaviour are suitable.
