Enhanced top-end performance
The improvements to the Comete begin at the top. Triangle’s famous horn-loaded tweeter system is now made from rose gold anodized magnesium. As magnesium is light and rigid, the top end is more responsive, making subtle details shine through. The horn-loaded tweeter projects the sound well into the room, making the Comete as engaging to listen to as ever.
Lifelike mid-range
Also new is the natural cellulose paper-coned woofer unit. The new material promotes a highly transparent sound, bringing vocals to life.
Punchy bass
Using a new suspension system, the woofer also now has a longer throw. This helps produce a deeper, more powerful bass. Already impressive for a compact speaker, the Comete 40th Anniversary version truly packs a punch.
Premium finishes
Two new premium finishes are available for this special edition version. For a glossy and luxurious finish, take a look at the richly grained Santos Rosewood. For a more contemporary style, the matte Blonde Sycamore offers a lighter vibe.
Supplied with spikes
Unusually for a standmount speaker, the Esprit Comete 40th Anniversary comes supplied with adjustable spikes. Whether you mount the speakers on stands or a shelf, the spikes help isolate the sound, tightening up the bass and reducing distortion.
