It will not suit every loudspeaker or every room, and it lacks the greater power, dedicated centre channel and additional inputs of the larger POWERNODE N331. it can drive passive loudspeakers directly through its rear five-way binding posts.
Music selection, volume, tone adjustment, input selection and multi-room grouping are handled through the BluOS Controller app.

DirectDigital Amplification
The POWERNODE EDGE uses Bluesound's DirectDigital amplification technology and is rated at 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
IHF dynamic power is rated at 80 watts into 4 ohms and 50 watts into 8 ohms, allowing the amplifier to respond to short-term musical peaks above its continuous power rating.
