Room-friendly floorstander

Ideal for medium to larger rooms, DALI designed the Opticon 6 MK2 to be as flexible as possible. Able to operate effectively from just 20cm from a rear wall, the Opticon 6 MK2 is more room-friendly than other floorstanding speakers. Alternatively, if you've got the space, the 6 MK2's are just as happy at up to a metre from the wall. Impressive as stereo speakers, the Opticon 6 MK2's also make ideal front speakers for a high-end home cinema system.

Ribbon tweeters for the finest clarity

The Opticon 6 MK2's use ribbon tweeters paired with improved dome tweeters for sensational results. With the ribbon tweeters handling the very highest frequencies - most of which can't even be heard by the human ear - the conventional tweeter is freed up to handle lower frequencies. This means less harmonic compression and a high frequency that can 'breathe'. What you hear is an effortless treble performance full of rich detail and free from harshness.

Improved drive units for the finest sound

Featuring low-loss, wood fibre SMS woofers that are found in DALI's reference grade speakers and a brand new soft dome tweeter derived from the Callisto range, the Opticon 6 MK2 sounds better than ever. Designed for precision and accuracy of sound, the Opticon lets you hear the music exactly as the artist intended.

Twin woofers for exhilarating bass performance

Adding a second bass woofer into a cabinet that stands a full metre tall, turns the Opticon 6 MK2 speakers into full-fat powerhouses. Whether you listen to live rock, powerful dance or full orchestral music, the Opticon 6 MK2's are more than up to the task of reproducing the full dynamic spectrum. Twin, Dual Flare ports for smooth, powerful bass MK2 Opticon models feature revised, Dual Flare ports. Redesigning the ports has delivered an optimised bass response, without creating undue turbulence that can distort the sound. The result is a richer bass at all volume levels.

Assembled in pairs Rather than 'buying in' cabinets, DALI produces the Opticon cabinets in-house. This means they can be sure of the quality and consistency of build. The solid cabinets are designed for low levels of resonance giving low distortion and help to promote a natural sound. Assembled in pairs, the manufacturing process ensures the speakers are as closely matched as possible – meaning you get evenly balanced sound and the best visual match.

The Opticon MK2 has a fresh new style. Cleaner and more minimalist than before, the Opticon 6 MK2 reflects its Scandinavian heritage. Available in a choice of Satin Black, Tobacco Oak or Satin White, there’s a finish to suit every décor.
