The Sonus faber Lumina V is where the Lumina range really begins to stretch its legs. This is a substantial three-way floorstander with a dedicated 150mm midrange and twin 165mm bass drivers, giving it the scale and low-frequency authority to work confidently in medium and larger rooms without immediately needing a subwoofer.

There is considerably more going on inside than the deliberately simple cabinet suggests. The twin woofers use sandwich diaphragms with natural-fibre outer layers and a syntactic-foam core, the midrange sits in its own lute-shaped internal chamber, and the Hybrid IFF-Paracross crossover is designed to control both amplitude and phase through the driver transitions.
