Audio T Verdict
Quadraspire QPlus supports offer a simple way to introduce the company's resonance-controlling principles beneath individual Hi-Fi components.
Each support sits between an equipment foot and the furniture or rack beneath it. This creates an additional mechanical interface designed to manage vibration produced by the component and energy entering from its surroundings.
The range includes three performance levels. QPlus EVO follows the principles of the Q4 EVO rack, Advanced draws on the SVT range and Reference is based on Quadraspire's flagship X-Reference platform.
Solid bamboo ply, carefully shaped components and selected metals are used across the range. Each version is supplied by Audio T as a pack of four and supports equipment weighing up to 50kg.
They are easy to try beneath a turntable, streamer, CD player, DAC, amplifier or power supply, but are not intended for loudspeakers or speaker stands.
Quadraspire QPlus Acoustic Equipment Supports
Quadraspire QPlus supports are compact acoustic interfaces designed for use beneath electronic Hi-Fi components.
They can be used where a full equipment rack is impractical or added between a component and a suitable existing shelf to provide a more carefully controlled support interface.
Audio T offers QPlus EVO, QPlus Advanced and QPlus Reference, with each option supplied as a pack of four.
Select the Required Version
This product page includes three different QPlus options:
- QPlus EVO Acoustic Interface, pack of four
- QPlus Advanced Acoustic Interface, pack of four
- QPlus Reference Acoustic Interface, pack of four
Check the selected option carefully before adding the product to your basket.
Designed to Manage Equipment Resonance
Hi-Fi components can produce vibration through transformers, disc mechanisms and other internal parts. They can also absorb energy travelling through furniture, floors and nearby loudspeakers.
QPlus supports are designed to manage this mechanical energy before it circulates through the component and supporting surface.
The precise effect will vary between systems, but Quadraspire aims to reduce unwanted resonance, lower the apparent noise floor and allow more low-level detail and spatial information to be heard.
Three Performance Levels
QPlus EVO
- Entry point into the QPlus range
- Based on Q4 EVO design principles
- Approximately 50mm in diameter
- Approximately 18mm high
- Supplied as a pack of four
- Suitable for a wide range of components
QPlus Advanced
- Based on the Quadraspire SVT rack
- Uses more advanced mechanical interfaces
- 50mm in diameter
- 24mm high
- Supplied as a pack of four
- Designed for more revealing systems
QPlus Reference
QPlus Reference is the flagship version and follows the design principles of Quadraspire's X-Reference equipment rack.
It measures 50mm in diameter and 24mm high, uses premium materials and is intended for highly revealing source components and amplification.
Bamboo, Bronze and Brass Construction
Quadraspire uses solid bamboo ply across the QPlus range for its combination of strength and natural vibration-suppressing properties.
The supports avoid simple parallel shapes where practical, following the same design principle used throughout Quadraspire's equipment racks.
Bronze, brass and other non-ferrous materials are incorporated according to the selected model, with the internal construction becoming more sophisticated as the range progresses.
Simple Installation
Place one QPlus support directly beneath each existing equipment foot, between the component and the shelf or furniture supporting it.
Each equipment foot should sit centrally and securely on its QPlus support. The completed component must remain level and must not rock when touched.
Where a component has three feet, three supports can be used and the remaining support kept as a spare.
Do Not Place the Supports Randomly Beneath the Chassis
QPlus supports are designed to sit beneath the component's existing feet rather than at unrelated points beneath its casework.
Make sure that vents, cooling openings and removable panels remain unobstructed.
Suitable Equipment
Suitable For
- Turntables
- CD and disc players
- Network streamers
- Digital-to-analogue converters
- Integrated amplifiers
- Pre and power amplifiers
- Phono stages
- External power supplies
Not Intended For
- Floorstanding loudspeakers
- Standmount loudspeakers
- Speaker stands
- Equipment weighing more than 50kg
- Unstable or uneven furniture
- Surfaces too small for all supports
Maximum Supported Weight
The QPlus range is rated for components weighing up to 50kg.
The equipment weight should be distributed securely across the supports and the underlying shelf or furniture must also be capable of carrying the complete load.
Do not assume that lightweight furniture is suitable simply because the QPlus supports themselves meet the component's weight requirement.
QPlus or a Complete Equipment Rack?
QPlus supports are useful where a full dedicated rack is not practical or where an individual component would benefit from an additional mechanical interface.
A complete rack provides separate shelves, component spacing, cable organisation and a stable structure for the whole system.
The modular Quadraspire Q4 EVO may be the better option when several components need to be supported and organised together.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many QPlus supports are supplied?
Audio T currently supplies the EVO, Advanced and Reference versions in packs of four.
Where should they be placed?
Place one support beneath each of the component's existing feet.
Can they be placed directly beneath the chassis?
They are intended to support the existing equipment feet. Do not position them randomly beneath the casework.
What is the maximum supported weight?
Quadraspire specifies a maximum component weight of 50kg for the QPlus range.
What are the dimensions?
QPlus Advanced and Reference measure 50mm in diameter and 24mm high. QPlus EVO is approximately 50mm in diameter and 18mm high.
What is the difference between the three versions?
EVO follows the principles of the Q4 EVO rack, Advanced follows the SVT range and Reference follows Quadraspire's flagship X-Reference rack.
Can they be used beneath a turntable?
Yes, provided that the turntable weighs no more than 50kg and remains level and stable on the supports.
Can they be used beneath an amplifier?
Yes. Make sure that the amplifier remains stable and that its ventilation openings are not obstructed.
Can they be used on an existing Hi-Fi rack?
Yes. They can be placed between a component and a suitable stable rack shelf.
Can they be used beneath loudspeakers?
No. Quadraspire specifically states that QPlus supports are not designed for loudspeakers or speaker stands.
What happens if my component has three feet?
Use one QPlus beneath each of the three feet and retain the fourth support as a spare.
Do they require adjustment?
No routine adjustment is required, but each equipment foot must be centred and the component must sit without rocking.
Where are they made?
Quadraspire manufactures its QPlus supports in Britain.
