Wayne, Store Manager at Audio T Southampton

Wayne – Store Manager: Joined Audio T in 2017.

Favourite album: Delicate Sound of Thunder by Pink Floyd.

Favourite music: Mostly rock, grunge and metal from bands such as Nirvana, Avenged Sevenfold and Black Sabbath, although Wayne also enjoys artists including The Kinks and Chris de Burgh.

Favourite films: The Lost Boys, the Terminator films, the Back to the Future trilogy and The Whole Nine Yards.

Best gig: Avenged Sevenfold at Download Festival in 2014.

First system: Yamaha Home Cinema system and speaker package.

Current system: Arcam FMJ Home Cinema system, Monitor Audio speakers, Pioneer plasma television, Xbox One, Naim CD3.5 CD player and a custom orange Rega RP1 turntable with a NAD phono preamplifier.

Nick, Sales Consultant at Audio T Southampton

Nick – Sales Consultant: Joined Audio T in 2022.

Favourite music: It is impossible to select just one favourite, as it depends on his mood. Particular favourites include London Calling by The Clash and the music of Matt Berninger from The National.

Best gigs: There are too many to choose from, but Nick fondly remembers seeing punk bands at The Granary in Bristol, Hothouse Flowers at Róisín Dubh in Galway and Lisa Hannigan with Stargaze at the Barbican.

Favourite film: Pulp Fiction.

First system: Nick started with a car stereo connected to homemade speakers and a 12-volt power supply. He later moved on to an Arcam Delta 60 amplifier, Rega turntable and Ruark speakers.

Current systems: An AV system based around an Arcam AVR and Orthidian speakers, plus a stereo system featuring Chord Electronics and Wilson Benesch speakers.

Favourite album: The Stage: Deluxe Edition by Avenged Sevenfold.

Best gig: Bring Me the Horizon at Download Festival in 2023.

Favourite films: Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and anything starring Jim Carrey.

First system: Sonos Connect:Amp, Pioneer Kuro plasma television, Technics SL-40 speakers and an Xbox One.

Current system: Naim NDX streamer, Audiolab 8000C preamplifier and 8000PX power amplifier, Celestion F30 speakers and a custom Rega Planar 3 turntable with an Elys 2 cartridge.

The system also includes QED and Chord Company EpicX interconnects and speaker cables, an Xbox Series S and a 55-inch Panasonic OLED television.
