1969 was a year to remember. Neil Armstrong stepped on to the Moon. Concorde and the Boeing 747 flew for the first time. Stateside an audience of 400,000 gathered for the music festival at Woodstock. Back home Monty Python was first aired and Led Zeppelin's first album was released. As if all this wasn't enough a new hi-fi store named Hampshire Audio opened in Chandlers Ford.
In 1999 Hampshire Audio joined Audio T and more than half a century after first opening we are still here with the same goal of providing hi-fi systems capable of enhancing the enjoyment of music at home. The only difference now is that we also offer CD, streaming plus multiroom audio and home cinema as well as the de facto hi-fi medium of choice in 1969, the 12” LP.
We are happy to play music or movies for you in our demonstration room. Home visits to plan projects, for home dems, or to install and set up systems aren't a problem. We also offer home loans of products, be it interconnects and cables, or speakers and electronics. You can be confident of making the right choice with our assistance.
