Nick – Store Manager: Joined Audio T in 2008.

Favourite bands and genres: Nick listens to all genres of music at home, but has a real soft spot for electronic music, particularly house and techno. He also enjoys a lot of 1990s hip-hop, along with drum and bass, although that is mainly his wife’s influence.

Some of his favourite artists include Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, SHY FX, A Tribe Called Quest, The Cinematic Orchestra and SBTRKT, to name just a handful.

Best gig: Daft Punk’s Alive tour at Global Gathering in 2006.

Current systems: System one: Naim Uniti Atom with KEF LS50 speakers on Solidsteel SS-6 stands, connected to his television and Xbox.

System two: Bluesound Node streamer, Origin Live Calypso turntable with Zephyr tonearm and Benz Micro ACE cartridge, connected to a Trichord Dino phono stage, Primare preamplifier and Leema power amplifier, driving Spendor D7.2 loudspeakers.

Kerrin – Assistant Manager: Joined Audio T in 2018.

Favourite gigs: Rage Against the Machine in 2010 and Glastonbury Festival in 2005, the year of the infamous mud flood.

Favourite bands and artists: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Caligula’s Horse, TesseracT, John Butler Trio and John Frusciante, to name just a few from an overly long and eclectic list.

Current system: Rega Planar 3 turntable with Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, Nytech CDP122 MM/MC phono stage, ADAM Audio A7X speakers and IsoAcoustics ISO-200 speaker stands.

Interesting fact: Kerrin plays in a metal band in his spare time.

Matt – Sales Consultant: Joined Audio T in 2021.

Current system: Matt’s system includes a Rega Planar 6 turntable fitted with a Dynavector 10X5 high-output moving-coil cartridge, connected to a Cyrus 40 PPA phono stage using a Chord Company ShawlineX ARAY RCA cable.

The system also includes a Cyrus CD Xt Signature CD transport and Cyrus 40 AMP, driving a pair of Spendor D7.2 floorstanding speakers through Ricable Magnus cables. Everything is housed on a black Solidsteel S3 three-shelf rack.

Favourite gigs: Jerry Cantrell on the 2002 Degradation Trip tour in Newport, Anthrax on the 2012 Worship Music tour at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff, and ZZ Top at the SSE Arena Wembley in 2015, with special guest Jeff Beck.

Favourite music: Matt has eclectic taste and listens to several different genres, although rock and metal are his favourites. He also enjoys blues, country, jazz, electronica, hip-hop and even some classical music, but he is firmly rooted in the rock side of things.

His favourite artists include Van Halen, ZZ Top, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Beastie Boys, Rush, Peter Gabriel and Massive Attack.
