Sennheiser HDB630 Headphones with BDT700 Dongle

You want it all. High resolution, neutral tone, extra-long battery life, flawless ANC, and of course, no cables. But until now, a wireless headphone built to audiophile standards was just a pipe dream.

Turning audiophile sound on its head

Serious headphone listening used to mean serious equipment: high-end DACs that cost more than your first car, balanced cables, a CD demagnetizer, big tube amps. Not stuff you bring along to the coffee shop. And that’s too bad, because it meant leaving your home involved compromising on sound. What if you could take audiophile fidelity anywhere? The HDB 630 is our carefully crafted answer.

A symphony of engineering

Refined tuning reveals details you’d never heard from a wireless headphone before. Neutral yet detailed mids make it feel like singers are performing right in front of you. A wide soundstage further enhances the feeling of being there with the musicians. This kind of neutral, hi-res sound requires carefully orchestrated acoustics, mechanics, materials, and electronics. Our engineering team optimized every part of the HDB 630 acoustic chain from the 42mm in-house transducer to the transparent mesh in the baffle to complement the others perfectly. The deep back volume and new acoustic mesh, for example, ensure smooth upper mids and lower treble. The result is that open, airy feel that typifies the Sennheiser sound.

No high-res experience without the right electronics

Support for aptX HD and aptX Adaptive codecs is built in. Combined with a highresolution signal, for instance from Sennheiser’s BTD 700 Bluetooth® adapter, you have the digital foundation for audiophile wireless sound. And for the purest fidelity possible, you can always plug in with USB-C and listen to high-res music.

Be the master of your audio reality

Sometimes, it’s mission-critical to limit the sounds that reach your ears. Like screaming babies. Oversharing subway riders. Slurping. Which is why this closedback headphone’s active noise cancellation is powerful but doesn’t interfere with playback. Need to hear your surroundings again? Just turn on transparency mode in the app. Speaking of control, the all-new parametric EQ is like putting your headphones in expert mode. It lets you define frequency bands and filters, just like sound engineers do, unlocking infinite customization. Set the middle frequency and width of the band anywhere you please. Then, choose a filter to determine how the adjustment is applied across the band. You can even use the Crossfeed function to make older recordings easier to listen to. By balancing out hard-panned left-right mixes that sometimes put an instrument completely in one ear, this feature makes listening to classic tracks on headphones much more enjoyable.

Days of battery life, not hours

To build a truly uncompromising wireless headphone, releasing you from cables wasn’t enough. We wanted to free you from frequent charging, too. That’s why the battery in the HDB 630 lasts up to 60 hours.

Smart looks in a feel-good package

The attractive Japanese leatherette on the headband says a lot about the build quality. So do the generously sized earcups and luxurious earpads. Low weight and a light clamping force keep things comfy. True audiophile sound has never been this liberated or felt this good.
