REL S/550 Subwoofer
The REL S/550 condenses the power and design philosophy of the S/850 into a more compact, room-friendly cabinet without compromising on performance. Featuring a 10-inch active driver with carbon-fibre refinements and a 12-inch carbon-infused passive radiator, it delivers bass that feels larger, deeper, and more authoritative than its footprint suggests.
A 550W Pure Class D amplifier gives the S/550 exceptional control and speed, ensuring bass that is both impactful and musical. The re-engineered drivers have greater travel and faster response times, resulting in bass that is tighter, richer, and more effortless than ever before. This makes the S/550 equally at home in music systems and home theatres, where it can supply a foundation of deep, dynamic energy without overwhelming the room.
Its new wider, lower cabinet brings added presence, making it look and feel like a much larger design. Supplied with a matched cloth grille in either black or white, it can also be upgraded to the premium sculpted wood grille for a refined finishing touch.
