The original 6000A was a multi-award-winning amp with the ideal blend of features, sound quality and style. The latest Audiolab 6000A MKII takes all that’s great about the original and makes it even better. A new power supply and DAC enhance the sound quality, while the addition of an HDMI socket improves the already excellent connectivity.

Continuing its 50 watt, Class AB amplifier, the 6000A MKII stays true to Audiolab’s audiophile, award-winning heritage. New to the MKII model is a revised transformer and power supply. The improved spec builds upon the typical Audiolab sound signature, with crisp dynamics, immaculate timing and finely resolved detail. Like all Audiolab amplifiers, the 6000A MKII ‘tells it like it is’, for the most natural and lifelike sound.

Upgraded to an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), all your digital sources, including your TV, sound better than ever. This flagship DAC supports 32-bit/768kHz PCM files and incorporates HyperStream II architecture for ultra-low noise levels and exceptional detail. The MKII amp also features new filter circuits that further refine the listening experience. 

Connect to all your digital sources – including TV
Maximising the new DAC’s full potential, the 6000A MKII has the widest selection of digital inputs yet. The new HDMI interface is perfect for connecting to your TV and, thanks to its ARC (Audio Return Channel) circuit, means that you can stick to using your TV’s remote for volume adjustment. Twin optical and coaxial inputs let you hook up your CD, Blu-ray/DVD player, games console and more. 

Enhanced Bluetooth your smartphone music streaming
For quick and easy music streaming from your smartphone or tablet, simply pair via Bluetooth and enjoy wireless streaming. The MKII has upgraded the Bluetooth technology to 5.1, with aptX HD. This means that you get to enjoy your music in more detail than before, with superior clarity and depth. 

And not forgetting your turntable
With all its digital connections, the 6000A MKII still hasn’t forgotten about your analogue sources. As well as three line level inputs, there’s also a handy turntable input for decks with a MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge. The high quality, low noise phono pre-amp delivers a full-bodied balance that does justice to the warmth and depth of vinyl sound.
