Roksan Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier
The Roksan Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier brings together powerful Class A/B amplification, high-resolution BluOS streaming and extensive system connectivity within one beautifully engineered component. It offers the performance and flexibility of a premium separates system while keeping the number of boxes, cables and controls to a minimum.
Its dual-mono Euphoria amplification architecture delivers 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms. This is joined by Roksan’s balanced Rapture DAC, an adjustable moving magnet phono stage, HDMI eARC, analogue and digital inputs, configurable pre-amplifier outputs and comprehensive network streaming.
Audio T Verdict
The Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to simplify their system without compromising on sound quality. Its substantial power output and current delivery make it suitable for driving a wide range of high-quality loudspeakers, while its generous selection of inputs accommodates streaming, vinyl, television sound and traditional hi-fi sources.
BluOS is one of the most established and user-friendly streaming platforms available, while HDMI eARC makes the Caspian equally useful at the heart of a high-quality two-channel television system. It is a thoroughly modern amplifier, but one that still gives analogue sources and traditional hi-fi performance the attention they deserve.
Euphoria Dual-Mono Amplification
The Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier uses Roksan’s Euphoria amplification architecture, with independently designed amplification sections for the left and right channels. This dual-mono approach helps reduce interaction between the channels, supporting precise stereo imaging, strong separation and greater clarity.
Its Class A/B output stage produces 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms, increasing to 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms. A substantial 600VA power supply provides the current delivery and dynamic headroom required to maintain control during demanding musical passages.
This combination of power, control and refinement allows the Caspian to partner effectively with a broad selection of standmount and floorstanding loudspeakers.
BluOS High-Resolution Streaming
Built-in BluOS provides access to a wide range of music streaming services, internet radio stations, podcasts and locally stored music. Everything can be browsed and controlled through the BluOS Controller app on a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer.
BluOS supports high-resolution playback at up to 24-bit/192kHz and allows the Caspian to form part of a compatible multi-room system containing as many as 64 zones. It can therefore work alongside products from Bluesound and other manufacturers that use the BluOS platform.
AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Roon Ready support provide additional ways to access and manage music without restricting the listener to one control platform.

Rapture Digital-to-Analogue Conversion
Roksan’s Rapture DAC uses a dual-mono balanced architecture designed to preserve low-level musical information and minimise unwanted interference during digital-to-analogue conversion.
Digital audio is supported at up to 24-bit/192kHz through the optical, coaxial and network inputs. This allows the Caspian to operate as the central digital hub for sources such as CD transports, televisions, network storage and compatible streaming services.
HDMI eARC for Television Sound
The HDMI eARC connection allows compatible televisions to send high-quality audio directly to the Caspian. This makes it possible to enjoy television programmes, films and games through a proper pair of hi-fi loudspeakers without requiring a separate AV receiver or soundbar.
Depending on the television and its settings, HDMI control can also allow everyday volume and power functions to be operated using the television remote control.
Moving Magnet Phono Stage
A built-in moving magnet phono stage allows a suitable turntable to connect directly to the amplifier. Three selectable gain settings help accommodate moving magnet cartridges with different output levels, making it easier to achieve suitable volume and system matching.
Owners of low-output moving coil cartridges can use a suitable external phono stage connected to one of the Caspian’s line-level inputs.

Extensive Analogue and Digital Connectivity
Two stereo RCA line inputs and one balanced XLR input accommodate traditional analogue components. Digital sources can be connected through two coaxial and two optical inputs, while Bluetooth provides a convenient option for wireless playback from compatible devices.
The Caspian also includes one balanced XLR and two RCA analogue outputs. These can be configured for pre-amplifier, fixed-level or low-pass-filtered subwoofer duties, allowing the amplifier to adapt as the system develops.
This flexibility makes it possible to add a power amplifier, active subwoofer or additional system component without replacing the Caspian.
MaestroUnite Setup and Control
Roksan’s MaestroUnite app provides guided setup, advanced configuration and over-the-air firmware updates. It allows input behaviour, output modes and other system settings to be adjusted without relying on complicated front-panel menus.
The amplifier itself is operated through Roksan’s Dynamic Control Dial. This provides tactile haptic feedback while controlling volume, source selection and power. Dedicated playback controls are also provided for quick access to previous, play, pause and next functions.
Caspian 4G Remote Control
The supplied 15-button infrared remote control uses a substantial bead-blasted and anodised aluminium casing. Its clearly arranged controls provide convenient access to source selection, volume, streaming presets and normal playback functions.
Premium Aluminium Construction
The Caspian’s extruded and machined aluminium front and top panels create a substantial, well-damped enclosure. Extruded aluminium heatsinks help manage the heat generated by the powerful Class A/B output stage.
The Streaming Amplifier is available in black or silver, allowing it to match the other components within the Caspian 4G range.
Streaming Amplifier or Integrated Amplifier?
The Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier and standard Integrated Amplifier share the same core Euphoria amplification architecture, Rapture DAC technology, moving magnet phono stage and extensive analogue connectivity.
The Streaming Amplifier additionally includes BluOS network streaming, Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, USB music playback, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready support and HDMI eARC. It is therefore the better choice for listeners who want streaming and television connectivity built directly into the amplifier.
Listeners who already own a dedicated network player or who prefer to keep streaming separate can consider the
Roksan Caspian 4G Integrated Amplifier.
