The Sonus faber Concertino G4 is a lovely example of how a compact loudspeaker can be made genuinely special without becoming unnecessarily complicated. The result is not a speaker designed around headline sensitivity or huge bass figures. At 85dB and 4O, Concertino deserves a good amplifier, while its 60Hz lower frequency specification tells you that it is still fundamentally a compact standmount rather than a substitute for a large floorstander.
