High Resolution sound
The Classic STREAM accepts a wide range of file types, including AAC, MP3, WMA, and AIFF. It will also stream high-resolution FLAC and WAV files at up to 192 kHz/24bit - that's better than CD quality. Now you can access all your stored music, effortlessly and in true hi-fi quality.

Bluesound streaming flexibility
With Bluesound on board, the Cyrus Classic Stream delivers a vast range of streaming potential. If you’d prefer, you can even use Siri voice control. You can also go multi-room, with a wide range of compatible Roon or Bluesound-based products on the market to link up to.

With the Bluesound streaming system, you’re not stuck with a single operating system. Full control is possible with Apple iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) and Android smartphones and tablet. Desktop control is also possible via Windows Vista 7, 8, 10 and Apple macOS 10.10-10.15 and 11.

Connect to all types of systems
For near universal compatibility, the Classic STREAM comes with a wide range of outputs. Connect to your AVR or digital amp via the optical or coaxial digital outputs. Alternatively, there’s a traditional RCA phono for analogue amps. Connectivity gets even better if you have a Cyrus system, as the Classic STREAM uses the MC BUS system, letting you use a single remote to control the entire system.

Upgrade path
Although the Classic STREAM is already one of the best-sounding music streamers in its class, you can take its sound quality to the next level by adding the PSX-R2 power supply. This legendary device is a separate power supply that delivers an extremely smooth and stable DC feed directly to the Classic STREAM. This ‘cleaner’ power means you’ll hear less distortion and more detail, taking the Classic STREAM to a new level of resolution.

Unique Cyrus design and quality
The half size ‘shoebox’ Classic STREAM is a distinctive design. The compact size lets you put two units on a single hi-fi shelf – perfect if you’re upgrading with a PSX-R2 or using with a Cyrus amp. The high quality, die-cast casing not only looks great but has important sonic benefits, too. In mechanical terms, the dense casing provides a non-resonant nature, minimising microphonic effects. The non-ferrous composition also provides superior shielding against various electrical interference, such as RF disturbance.
