Although the centre speaker focuses on mid-range, it still needs to carry dynamic weight across the soundstage – linking the left and right speakers with sequences such as heavy gun fire or a jet flying from right to left. For this reason, the EVO 4.CS uses twin woofers to produce all the necessary firepower across a wide stage.
