The Neat Acoustics Orkestra loudspeakers combine the refinement of the Ekstra with the dynamic authority of the flagship Ultimatum XL6, delivering a high-performance loudspeaker in a beautifully compact form. At just 103cm tall and with a modest footprint, the Orkestra offers room-friendly proportions without compromise on scale or resolution.
A 2.5-way design, the Orkestra features a true 75mm ribbon tweeter for sparkling, detailed highs and three 170mm main drive units. The upper section houses the tweeter and a single mid/bass driver in a sealed cabinet, operating as a precise two-way speaker. Below this, two downward-firing 170mm bass drivers in an isobaric configuration deliver deep, taut, and extended low-frequency response—effectively acting as a built-in subwoofer section.
Internally, the crossover is a minimalist design using first- and second-order slopes. All components are hard-wired point-to-point to preserve signal purity, with premium parts throughout, including high-voltage polypropylene capacitors and low-loss air-cored inductors.
The Orkestra now also benefits from upgraded feet derived from the acclaimed Ultimatum range. These offer improved stability, resonance control, and contribute to the speaker’s overall clarity and authority—particularly in the bass.
Despite its discreet size, the Orkestra is a true full-range loudspeaker, with an 8-ohm impedance and 88dB sensitivity, offering a wide and natural frequency response from 20Hz to 40kHz. It is supplied with a single pair of binding posts as standard, with bi-wire or bi-amp terminals available at no extra cost when requested with your order.
