Is the Evoke 10 a bookshelf speaker?
Dynaudio categorises it as a bookshelf model, but it will normally perform best on rigid floor stands rather than directly on a shelf or lightweight cabinet.

A 28mm Cerotar coated fabric soft-dome tweeter with Dynaudio’s Hexis inner dome.

Begin with clear space behind the rear ports where practical, then move both speakers equally while assessing bass weight and definition.
Can the Evoke 10 be placed close to a wall?
Yes, although wall proximity will normally increase perceived bass output. Keep the ports unobstructed and experiment with small changes in distance.
Should the speakers be toed in?
Experiment with equal toe-in on both channels. The optimum angle depends on the room, listening distance and preferred balance between focus and soundstage width.
Does the Evoke 10 require a subwoofer?
Not necessarily in a smaller stereo system. A subwoofer can add deeper extension, additional headroom or home cinema impact where required.
