Single-Wire Loudspeaker Connections
Each Evoke 20 uses one pair of rear loudspeaker terminals.
The speaker is designed for conventional single wiring rather than passive bi-wiring or bi-amping.
The amplifier should always be switched off before speaker cables are connected or removed.
Compatible Speaker-Cable Connections
The loudspeaker terminals can accommodate:

Loose bare-wire strands must not be allowed to touch the opposite terminal, as this could short-circuit the amplifier output.

The complete speaker-and-stand assembly must remain stable on the intended floor.
Carpet spikes can help reach the firmer surface beneath a rug or carpet, while rubber contacts or protective discs may be preferable on wood, tile and other sensitive hard floors.
Any filling material should be clean, dry and suitable for the stand manufacturer’s design.
Speaker Positioning
Begin with the speakers positioned symmetrically and with clear space behind their rear ports.
Approximately 50cm from nearby walls is a useful initial target where the room allows, but it should not be treated as a fixed rule.
Move both speakers in equal increments while assessing:

Speaker Spacing
The distance between the speakers should normally be similar to, or slightly less than, the distance from each speaker to the main listening position.

Yes. The Audio T product is supplied as a matched stereo pair.
Are speaker stands included?

Yes, although wall proximity will normally increase perceived bass output. Keep the ports unobstructed and experiment with small changes in distance.
Should the speakers be toed in?
Experiment with equal toe-in on both channels. The optimum angle depends on the room, listening distance and preferred balance between focus and soundstage width.
Does the Evoke 20 require a subwoofer?
Not necessarily. Its 40Hz published lower cutoff provides substantial bass for a standmount speaker. A subwoofer can add deeper extension or home cinema impact where required.
Is the Dynaudio Sub 6 compatible?
Yes. The Sub 6 includes a dedicated performance map for the Evoke 20.
Can the Evoke 20 be used in a home cinema?
