Audio T Verdict
The Audio Note TT-Two Deluxe combines two matched AC motors, a low-mass acrylic platter and a three-point suspended aluminium sub-chassis.

Two Matched AC Motors
The TT-Two Deluxe uses two opposed 24-pole high-torque AC motors rather than the single motor commonly found in a suspended belt-drive turntable.
The motors are matched so that they behave consistently when driving the same platter and belt system.
Motor matching is important because differences between two opposed motors could otherwise introduce unwanted movement into the suspended chassis.
Opposed Motor Arrangement
Positioning the motors on opposing sides of the platter applies drive force from two directions.

Audio Note IO I
is a low-output moving-coil cartridge requiring an appropriately matched step-up transformer and moving-magnet phono stage.
Using a Moving-Magnet Cartridge
A suitable moving-magnet cartridge normally connects directly to a compatible moving-magnet phono input.
Input resistance and capacitance should be checked against the cartridge manufacturer's recommendation.
The cartridge output must not be connected to a conventional CD, AUX or other line-level input without a phono stage.
Using a Moving-Coil Cartridge
A high-output moving-coil cartridge may be compatible with a moving-magnet input, depending on its output and loading requirements.
A low-output moving-coil cartridge normally requires an active MC phono stage or a correctly matched step-up transformer feeding a moving-magnet input.
The
Audio Note AN-S5/L
is intended for very low-impedance cartridges, but the correct transformer version must be chosen according to cartridge impedance.
No Built-In Phono Stage
The TT-Two Deluxe does not contain a phono stage or line-level output.
The fitted cartridge must connect to a compatible external phono stage, step-up transformer or phono-equipped amplifier.

33? and 45rpm Playback
The TT-Two Deluxe supports 33? and 45rpm record playback.

Standard Mains Operation
The TT-Two Deluxe can operate in its standard form without the separate Audio Note external PSU.
