The Rega Turntable Lid in smoked finish is a genuine replacement dustcover for compatible full-size Rega turntables.

Rega Turntable Lid – Smoked
This genuine Rega replacement lid is designed for compatible full-size turntables with the company's conventional rectangular plinth.
Its smoked finish provides a darker alternative to the standard clear lid while still allowing the turntable to remain visible. When closed, it helps reduce dust settling on the platter, tonearm, cartridge and plinth, while also providing protection from accidental contact.

Smoked GPPS Construction
The lid is manufactured from smoked general-purpose polystyrene, commonly abbreviated to GPPS.
This creates a lightweight, rigid and transparent dustcover that can be raised easily when changing records. The tinted surface provides a darker appearance without completely hiding the turntable beneath it.
Transparent plastic can be marked by abrasive materials, unsuitable cleaning products or dust being rubbed across the surface. Careful handling will help preserve the finish.
Supplied Hinged with Rega Badge
The lid is supplied with its hinge components and official Rega badge fitted.
On a compatible turntable, the lid fits into the existing hinge supports at the rear of the plinth. Check the turntable-side hinge supports before installation, as cracked or missing mounting parts may require separate replacement.
When fitting or removing the lid, hold it evenly with both hands rather than placing sideways pressure on one hinge.
Cleaning the Smoked Lid
Do Not Use Cleaning Fluids
Rega advises against using cleaning fluids on the lid. Glass cleaner, alcohol, solvents and household sprays may cloud, mark or damage the GPPS surface.
When cleaning is necessary, use only a soft, clean cloth lightly dampened with water.
Remove loose dust gently before wiping the lid and avoid paper towels, abrasive cloths or dirty cleaning materials that could leave fine scratches.
Do not apply heavy pressure around the hinges or badge while cleaning.
