It remains unmistakably a Russell K design. The cabinet uses relatively light 16mm MDF panels with a thicker 19mm front baffle and no conventional acoustic damping material. Instead, four internal shelves control cabinet behaviour and the movement of air through the enclosure.
The clever part is what happens at the bottom of the cabinet. Three perforated acoustic-loading shelves divide and brace the main enclosure, while a fourth lower shelf contains an internal port. That port feeds a small chamber containing two asymmetric-length reflex vents, with the complete system tuned to approximately 21Hz.

RED 150 or RED 150Se?
This Audio T product page is for the standard Russell K RED 150.
The later RED 150Se is a separate upgraded model and introduced changes including a different tweeter, revised tweeter crossover, upgraded sub-bass coil and revised plinth and spike arrangement.

2.5-Way Driver Configuration

How is the RED 150 different from the RED 120?
The RED 150 uses larger twin 6.5-inch drivers, a larger enclosure, slightly higher sensitivity and lower 21Hz reflex tuning. It is intended to provide greater scale and low-frequency authority.
How is it different from the RED 100?
The RED 100 is a two-way standmount using one closely related 6.5-inch bass/mid driver. The RED 150 adds a second bass driver, much greater cabinet volume and substantially deeper bass loading.
Is this the RED 150Se?
No. This page covers the standard RED 150.
What did the RED 150Se change?
The later Special Edition introduced a revised tweeter, modified tweeter crossover, upgraded sub-bass coil and revised plinth and spike arrangement.
