Ortofon Quintet Bronze Cartridge
The Quintet Bronze would be the logical replacement for the Rondo Blue and the slim profile of its Nude Fine Line diamond stylus will track even the highest frequency information, making it a must for listeners that demand more. The larger footprint of this stylus profile ensures reduced distortion and record wear. The sound is very evenhanded with greater detail and resolution on tap over the Quintet Blue.
The naturally low internal impedance of the Quintet series means they are less fussy about the load connected which in turn ensures they partner easily with a wide range of phono preamps. This guarantees a remarkably stable performance accross many amplifier platforms.
The modern body design constructed of a special ABS thermoplastic with straight lines and angles also allows for a far easier job when it comes to fitting the cartridge in the headshell. It is possible to align the body by eye, with the alignment protractor with greater accuracy given its shape. The internal aluminium frame of the Quintet series has threaded holes for mounting and is supplied with two lengths of screws to suit all headshells.
