The Rega Turntable Lid is a genuine clear replacement dustcover for compatible full-size Rega turntables.
It is a useful replacement when an original lid has become cracked, heavily scratched, damaged around the hinges or lost during a house move.
Made from clear GPPS and supplied with its hinges and Rega badge fitted, it restores the turntable's original appearance while helping protect the platter, tonearm and cartridge from dust and accidental contact.
Compatibility should be checked for particularly old or unusual models. The current skeletal Planar 8, Planar 10 and Naia use different custom-designed covers.

The current Rega Planar 8, Planar 10 and Naia use compact skeletal plinths with specially shaped removable dustcovers.
This conventional full-size hinged lid is not intended for those models.

Clear GPPS Construction
The lid is manufactured from clear general-purpose polystyrene, commonly abbreviated to GPPS.
This provides a transparent and lightweight cover which can be raised easily when changing records while remaining rigid enough for normal everyday use.
As with any transparent turntable lid, the surface can be marked by abrasive cloths, paper towels, dust or unsuitable cleaning products. Careful handling will help preserve its clarity.
Supplied with Hinges and Rega Badge
The replacement lid is supplied with the hinge components fitted and includes an official Rega badge.
On a compatible turntable, it is designed to replace the original lid using the existing hinge positions at the rear of the plinth.
Before fitting, inspect the hinge supports on the turntable itself. Damaged, cracked or missing plinth-mounted components may require separate attention.
Cleaning the Rega Lid
Do Not Use Cleaning Fluids
Rega advises against using cleaning fluids on the lid. Solvents, glass cleaners, alcohol-based products and household sprays may mark, cloud or damage the GPPS surface.
Use only a clean, soft cloth lightly dampened with water when cleaning is necessary.
Remove loose dust gently rather than rubbing it across the surface. Avoid abrasive cloths, paper towels and dirty cleaning materials which may leave fine scratches.
Support the lid while cleaning and avoid applying pressure around the hinge area or Rega badge.
