Sometimes the best ideas happen completely by accident...


Adam from The Printed Brick recently popped into Audio T Manchester with his father, John, who was having his trusty Rega Planar 3 serviced. While waiting, Adam spotted the giant plastic Lego® figure, Mungo (as in Mungo Jerry) in the window and instantly realised the Manchester team clearly had a soft spot for those lovable plastic bricks.

For anyone who has visited our Manchester store or spent time reading the team’s blogs, you’ll probably already know about Chromey and the store’s long-running affection for all things brick-built. So naturally, conversations quickly turned towards collecting, music, turntables and the kind of stuff grown adults can become surprisingly obsessed with.

A few ideas later and here we are...

We’ve teamed up with The Printed Brick to create a range of miniature Hi-Fi-inspired sets for music lovers, vinyl fans and collectors alike.

Tiny turntables? Yep.
Mini speakers? Of course.
Little shelves packed with colourful records? Absolutely.



They’re fun, slightly ridiculous, and exactly the sort of thing we instantly wanted sitting on our desks the moment we saw the first designs.


For anyone who grew up building with little tiny bricks, these sets are a brilliant crossover between music and collecting. They also make dangerously tempting gifts for the person who already has a house full of Hi-Fi gear but definitely doesn’t need another hobby.


Founded in Manchester, The Printed Brick has built a loyal following for its custom designs and printed genuine Lego® parts, and working together just felt like a natural fit from the start.


Safe to say, this is probably the smallest Hi-Fi system we’ve ever dealt with.
