A warm, welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable, experienced staff make Audio T  Swansea the best destination for quality Home Cinema and Hi-Fi in the local area and we regularly greet customers from Carmarthen, Mumbles, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend, Llanelli, Pembroke, Brecon, Aberystwyth and Tenby in store. With over 50 years experience between us, we are well-equipped to deal with your needs, whether it’s a Hi-Fi system or a full-blown Multi-Room installation.

Our main showroom features a wide range of Hi-Fi, from turntables to the latest streaming and multi-room products as well as the latest OLED TV. Our ground floor cinema room features a projector based surround system with full Dolby Atmos speaker set-up. Also, we have the refurbished upstairs demo room where most of the traditional stereo Hi-Fi demonstrations take place.

We can supply and install simple or more complex Hi-Fi systems, from a simple stereo, multi-room music or a fully automated home cinema system. Whether you’re looking for a simple room revamp or a full new build, we work with you and a specialist installer to help you to plan, design and install the complete home audio system for you. This can include automated lighting and system control for the entire home.

We are able to service your turntables if you need us to and upgrading these can often produce considerable benefits. We have been working with turntables for many years, making improvements that are cost effective.

Nic - joined Audio T in 1991 First job: Sales office in local Oil and Chemical Distributor Favourite bands/music: Joe Bonamassa is a big favourite at the moment, Tift Merritt, Jewel, Sarah Mclachlan, Joanne Shaw Taylor are a few of my other current favourites. Can’t forget the old favourites like Prince, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Martyn etc, etc... Favourite concerts: Old one – Lenny Kravitz in Leicester De-Montfort Hall. Adrian - joined Audio T in 2002 First job: Technical Assistant to a Civil Engineer Musical tastes: The Cult and The Cure to start with; too much dance, ambient and rock to list in the middle and more recently, Ben Harper, Goldfrapp, Kings of Leon and The Black Keys. I also enjoy funk, classical and jazz (though not the modern stuff, or Steely Dan, or Cleo Lane.) Favourite gig: Goldfrapp at Somerset House Favourite film: too close to call between The Usual Suspects, Twelve Angry Men (original version) and the Lord of the Rings director’s cut trilogy First system: Well, after the inherited Sharp "music centre" and the Matsui ghetto blaster I bought a Systemdek IIX, Linn Basik arm, Goldring cart, Rotel RA840 amp and Celestion DL6 speakers from this very store. Current system: Primare hi-fi and home cinema electronics with Focal Profile loudspeakers. Dream system: The Grande Utopia demo suite at the Focal factory in St Etienne. AC/DC and the 100,000 at Knebworth were in the room...

The Audio T Swansea store offered me some of the best service I have experienced from any retailer in the UK---and I don't just mean audio specialists! The shop has a wonderful "Aladdin's Cave" feel, the staff are well-mannered experts and the products on sale are carefully selected from the very best audio lineups. I purchased a Rega turntable to add into my existing set-up for some analogue listening. I ordered online and had it sent to the Swansea store. Not only was I offered a very substantial discount at that point, on the grounds that the product I was purchasing was a display model; the gentleman in Swansea rounded my extra 'e-club' discount up when I spoke to him on the phone and, when the turntable turned up (no pun intended), it wasn't a display model at all -- it was new and unboxed. The staff cheerily sold it to me anyway at the knockdown price previously agreed, chatting about new pressings of old albums worth obtaining while they did so. The only way I can think to describe my overall experience is good old-fashioned personal service that has all the hallmarks of a high-end retailer. I cannot recommend this company, or the Swansea store, highly enough. Thank you very much once again. And what happened to me and my turntable? ...I took her home to meet my mum and my dad and, well, the rest is history.

The team in Swansea have been great, supporting my project. I am building a full home cinema and have asked endless questions. Nic has shown really good customer care and it has always felt I was a fellow nerd and not just some punter to squeeze a sale out of. The demo room has seen considerable action and a final line up of toys agreed. A combination of B&W, Yamaha and Epson is the final design. Something I would not have gone for without the ability to test side by side. The tech know how has been spot on, occasionally proving other 'experts' to off the mark by some margin. My piggy bank may be taking a caning but the end result will be better than I anticipated at the start of the project. See you soon chaps, stage 2 awaits....
