Welcome to Audio T Cheltenham, your local specialist for Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and expert audio advice in Gloucestershire.

Our Cheltenham store first opened in Albion Street during the mid-1980s before moving to Winchcombe Street in 2000. Today, the store offers a large downstairs sales area, a dedicated Home Cinema demonstration room and a spacious upstairs Hi-Fi demonstration room.

We offer a wide range of products, from one-box systems and music streamers to high-quality Hi-Fi separates, turntables, speakers and Home Cinema equipment. Our experienced team can also help with turntable servicing and upgrades, whether you need a replacement cartridge, a careful set-up or advice on moving to a new turntable.

Home loans and demonstrations are available on request, helping you choose with confidence before committing to your next upgrade. Call in for a friendly welcome, a cup of tea or coffee, and proper advice from people who care about getting your system right.

Current system: Garrard 401 turntable, Rega Apollo CD player, Arcam rBlink, Pro-Ject phono stage, Arcam AVR350 used in stereo, Spendor A3 speakers and REL T/5i subwoofer.

Andy – Sales Consultant: Joined Audio T in 1985.

Favourite bands and music: Porcupine Tree, Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Van der Graaf Generator, Camel, Gong, Caravan, Hatfield and the North, Rush, Gentle Giant and ELP. Andy is also a big fan of the Grateful Dead and Krautrock.

Favourite album: Rain Dances by Camel.

Best gig: Pink Floyd performing The Wall at Earl’s Court.

First system: National Panasonic music centre.

Current system: Rega P7 turntable with Dynavector cartridge, Creek preamplifier and power amplifier, Creek CD player and Naim equipment.

Parking

Pay-and-display parking is available directly outside the shop.

Alternatively, turn left at the traffic lights outside the shop. A pay-and-display shoppers’ car park is approximately 100 yards along on the right.

Please note: Do not park in the retail park car park near the store, as restrictions apply and you may receive a parking charge.

We’ll pay your parking!

We know that parking in and around town can be difficult, so we hope this makes visiting us a little easier. When you make a purchase in store, we will reimburse your parking fee by deducting it from the cost of your purchase.
