Under the extruded aluminium chassis you will find a Class-D digital amplifier driving two 21mm soft-dome tweeters and two 3.5” aluminium woofers, ensuring quality sound with real punch and refinement that is most importantly well balanced even at higher volume levels.
The DALI Katch has two audio profiles. One is optimized for a linear more neutral frequency response, perfect for most listening situations. The other has added warmth and will work perfectly when playing larger rooms or for when the music needs just that little extra.
The Katch uses the latest Bluetooth 4.0 Apt-X technology which allows for sound quality approaching that of CD quality without the need for any cables. Quickly and easily pair your smartphone, tablet or laptop and enjoy stunning sound quality anywhere you like. The Katch usefully has a 3.5mm aux input fitted so that you can also hook up non Bluetooth devices like older iPods and MP3 players.
In addition to the extruded aluminium body, the Katch features a stylish ABS/Polycarbonate front, complete with a sliding leather strap for easy carrying. You also get a carry case included. For added convenience there is a USB socket that can power your devices as you go. The powerful 2600 mAh internal battery offers up to 24-hours of untethered playback whilst offering a full charge time of within 2-hours.
Ease of use extends to power-level indicator lights activated by a push of a button - immediately revealing the current power level.
