Marantz MCR612 Network Micro System
The Marantz MCR612 is a superb compact networked system, with excellent music reproduction from CDs, FM, DAB+ and network files. The MCR612 has a host of networking and streaming features. WiFi connection takes just a single button press,and there are two optical digital inputs, so you can connect your TV and other devices.
When connected to your broadband connection the system can access a plethora of free Internet radio stations via Tunein, or online music services such as Spotify, Amazon Music and Tidal. The MCR612 is DLNA compatible so you can access the music library on your computer and network attached storage. The MCR612 supports Bluetooth and AirPlay2, with control via the reliable HEOS App on Apple or Android based products. This system supports ALAC, as well as 192kHz/24bit high-resolution WAV, FLAC files plus DSD support, and Gapless playback as well.
Whatever source you choose, the powerful 60W (rms) x 2ch amplifier plays music loud and clear. There is added versatility, with the ability to control the A and B output volumes separately with 4 x 30W output. You can play your music in two rooms, at the volumes appropriate for each.
The system is available in a durable high quality black or silver finish with selectable ambient white lighting.
