This method of construction has many benefits includng not only terrific performance with superb detail retrieval but also a high degree of flexibility allowing the cable to be easily positioned and discrete in operation. Shawline X is better able to carry the very fine details that reveal more of the timbre of individual instruments. This allows you to look further into and get more involved in music, with the added benefit of enhancing the image and depth of the system it’s being used in.

The conductors are twisted as a pair and insulated by a version of XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) that as a material looked particularly interesting during research and testing. Subsequently following many listening tests this proved to clearly be the case with this new cable delivering performance well beyond that of the old PTFE equipped Shawline cable.
